does anyone have any idea where i can purchase ultracaps such as those made by maxwell in the UK? around the 10F area

have you looked at Farnell or RS? quick look shows 6 @ 10F with Farnell there could be others but I didn't look for other values....

it's also worth searching for variations on "Aluminium Electrolytic - Memory Back Up"
