just two questions for shematic mini sumo optical edge sensor

the valeur resistor is 90 and 60 ohm ??

when reference for IR composants , emetting and recepting...

Sorry Pat, I was away for a few days....

The values of 90 and 60 ohms were derived for the paired IR devices from Maplin:

Looking at the datasheet it says the maximum IF (forward current) value, so I tried to get it close to this.


I will upload a newer IR circuit soon... I have been using a better version from the Solarbotics Sumovore. If you download the PDF for their sumo, you can use a 74hc240 for line detection.
